What is Hust?

Android restricts apps from recording calls. Hust is a tiny companion that grants Klear a privileged audio path through wireless debugging — no root, no PC needed after setup. You install it once and pair it; Klear handles the rest.

Quick setup — about 2 minutes
After installing, pair Hust once. It stays active until you reboot.

Install the APK

Tap download above, then open the file. Allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser if Android asks.

Turn on Wireless debugging

Open Hust and tap Pair. It walks you to Developer options → Wireless debugging. (Enable Developer options first: tap Build number 7 times.)

Pair & grant

Hust finds the device automatically and pairs with one tap. Once it shows Connected, return to Klear — call recording is live.

Will it work on my phone?
The privileged call-audio path depends on your manufacturer.
Full call recording
OnePlus, RedMagic, Pixel and most stock-Android phones capture clear two-way call audio.
Best-effort
Samsung (One UI) blocks the call-audio channel at the system level. Klear falls back to mic + speakerphone, so quality varies.

Hust runs locally on your device. It only enables recording for Klear — no internet permission for your calls, nothing uploaded. Pairing uses Android's own wireless debugging, the same mechanism Shizuku uses.

Questions
Why isn't this on the Play Store?
Google doesn't allow apps that record calls in the Play Store. Hust is distributed as a direct APK and self-updates from Klear's servers, so you always stay current.
Do I need to re-pair after every reboot?
The connection ends when you restart your phone. Re-opening Hust and tapping Pair takes a few seconds and brings it back. On some devices it can reconnect automatically.
Is it safe? Does it have access to my data?
Hust only grants the recording permission Klear needs. It runs on-device, requires no account, and your call audio is never sent anywhere by the helper. Recordings stay in Klear, on your phone.
Recording is silent / empty on my Samsung
One UI restricts the in-call audio stream. Turn on speakerphone during the call so Klear can capture through the microphone — that's the best available path on Samsung today.
